Luz Noceda As a witch, Luz thought that the sanctimonious Jeanne would condemn her. Jeanne is actually also a shaman and regards witches as comrades, but they never got the chance to clarify this before her death and did not get to bond. |

Reika Aoki Reika endeared herself to Jeanne early on by offering to accompany her at the school dance, since Jeanne was made uncomfortable by the prospect of unchaste relations with boys. This was just one of Reika's constant efforts to support her fellow students. When Reika committed the first murder and carefully followed the rules of the game, Jeanne immediately rationalized her actions. This continued in the graveyard when Reika reacted with kindness to Jeanne arriving as the fourth culprit. They remain close and move forward together. |

Thomasin From the outset Thomasin regarded Jeanne fondly, admiring her hair and chiding her clumsiness. They had a serious discussion about the religious principle of predestination, healing to them both as they discovered new horizons. Discovering that Thomasin had died and investigating her room was a sad time for Jeanne. As they have both set aside revenge, Jeanne still has a sisterly love for her afterwards. |

Edward Cullen Edward managed to poke a hole or two in the prideful armor of "Mistress Maiden", as Jeanne let slip to him that she had used to be called such. She thus felt rather smug to see him executed as the second culprit, cracking under the hostage motive after he had judged Reika for not fighting their enemies head-on. They still feel a strong urge to maintain companionship within the group and share a hatred of Father. |

(Niles Julian) Valmont He happened to make a good impression on Jeanne by sounding receptive to the supernatural. Despite Valmont's many arrogant and selfish actions, Jeanne maintains that the only really hurtful one was his demands of Yasu, which he did stop upon being asked. She was flattered that Valmont paid her special attention but began to feel "in over her head" at the sense that it was a shallow, selfish, romantic overture. Valmont was killed during the starvation motive and the survivors criticized his actions leading up to the event as well as suspecting Jeanne of doing the deed herself for the greater good. In actuality Jeanne found it intolerable to endure the motives at all and became the culprit on the following week believing that she had a chance to revive everyone that would be mass executed as well as all the previously killed. Valmont and Jeanne validated each other entirely, creating an unbreakable bond. |

Yuta Takizawa Yuta has an idle way about him that Jeanne was raised to instantly dislike. However, he was one of the less petty students in the third trial investigating Valmont's death, even though he turned out to be the killer. He also continued to contribute to the efforts to organize in Kakuriyo. This lead Jeanne to offer him help after they were freed. |

Dylan Dalmatian He rubbed Jeanne the wrong way with his skepticism about the supernatural, though he moderated this and the two remained quite friendly at first. Then it transpired that Valmont had wanted to threaten Dylan over a talisman from the vending machine. For various reasons such as Jeanne having gotten Shamash back from Dylan with no trouble in the past, Jeanne found it quite cathartic when her manipulations at the next week's meeting resulted in Dylan on patrol alone as the one she had the opportunity to torture-murder. Relations only worsened in the graveyard as Dylan attempted to tell Yasu that Kakuya was bad. Jeanne felt obligated to speak out as someone who was an "abuse survivor" that had actively been fenced back in by ignorant suggestions to "just leave". This audacity from the very person who had brutally slaughtered Dylan closed the door between them forever, which was quite amusing given how the final confrontation saw them both firmly on the side that Kakuya could not go free simply. |

Koishi Komeiji As Koishi is an eccentric spirit, Jeanne accepted lackadaisical qualities she would readily condemn in a human. Jeanne even managed to hang out with her despite taking Valmont's side in a group argument that ensued when Koishi was the one who stole the turtle in the first place. The two investigated a shrine in Kakuriyo together. Transcendent. |

Carrie Fernandez Carrie Fernandez is a witch from the Eastern Orthodox Church, so Jeanne immediately regarded her as a comrade in arms. As Jeanne continued to reveal her tortures and sacrifices, Carrie came by far the closest to worshipping her like the members of the X-Laws. The love that came to the fore when Carrie met Jeanne again "not in hell", and Jeanne declared they should not mutilate themselves to destroy Kakuya, had a blinding light. Still, Jeanne felt that Carrie loved the iron maiden itself and not the heart hidden inside. |

Ava Ava had a rebellious attitude from the outset. At first these actions reassured Jeanne. When Ava killed Carrie, however, and the motive never came to light for those in Kakuriyo, it was easy to uncharitably reinterpret Ava as irreverent and indolent, and now Jeanne hates her. |

Fret - Tosai Furesawa Fret was one of the many students who had lived a life of liberty and levity. At the same time, Jeanne never saw him outright denying the reality of the situation like some of the others. Shamash ultimately went to him as the most powerful psychic of the survivors, and they might collaborate in the future. |

Rosalinda Maria Montoya Fiorre Rosalinda made a good impression on Jeanne prior to the killing game. They did not interact much afterwards. |

Hunter DeVil Hunter is a boy who can occasionally be triggered to act like a dog. Jeanne never got the full story on how he and Dylan initially knew each other and now in all honesty mostly regards him as "Dylan's friend, convenient as Dylan ignores me". There are worse things to be - Hunter made consistent attempts to organize and help the group. |
![]() ⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜🞫🞫🞫🞫 |
Anya Forger Anya was among the youngest and most innocent of the students. Jeanne had perceived certain trends in the group about playfulness and optimism; she did not lean in this direction, while Anya did. The principal executed Edward and for that we should kill him with our own hands; the secrets motive caused Anya to cry so hard that Jeanne urged her to drink water; Jeanne killed a good person because of the supernatural teachings from her cult. After these moments, all Jeanne can do is pursue justice against Kakuya. |
![]() 🞫⚜🞫⚜🞫⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜ |
Adorabat Adorabat is the actual youngest. She has a bright and cheery demeanor about card tricks and arresting monsters, while Jeanne executes evildoers. The minor differences are enough to create quite a bit of friction between them, particularly because Adorabat genuinely does not understand that God being Almighty does not mean miracles and necromancy happen on a daily basis. Still, she memorialized the dead, and the shaman Jeanne always loves that. |

Emma Banks Emma is a social justice warrior. Jeanne had previously been used to the idea that there was little tractability in circumstances such as being orphaned. She never really understood exactly why Emma had considered these matters so important and saw her righteous insights as uncanny, particularly when these matters proved to be genuinely more pressing than the killing game. There was a breakthrough when Emma realized that the X-Laws were effectively Jeanne's family. Jeanne has now accepted after all the time they spent together that Emma cared for her despite condemning the tortures as too harsh. |

Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic is a freedom fighter, whatever that means. Jeanne quickly concluded that it meant Sonic had never had to deal with the complicated social dynamics of humans. She grew frustrated with his refusal to vote, seeing it as keeping his hands clean for his own satisfaction—only for him to not understand her reason for fasting during the starvation motive when he acknowledged the desperate straits of the situation. Jeanne has softened her heart after repenting for her own sins, particularly because Sonic respected the incapacitating fear Dylan felt when Kakuya might go free. |
![]() 🞫🞫🞫⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜ |
Dewey Duck - Turbo Dewey is one of the party people, which may or may not be correlated with being an animal person. He still made quite an effort to include Jeanne and had also been able to understand how seriously threatened they and their families were. He was outraged by Jeanne's sadism and duplicity in the fourth trial, yet in the final confrontation he led an impressive initiative to respect the wishes of those who had died in the game. Jeanne is so grateful. |

Yasu Yasu had been raised as an orphan maid. These circumstances have been normalized to Jeanne, so she played the role of generous young mistress. Yasu discarded this mask soon enough; Jeanne liked, but did not understand, the swirl of magic and mystery underneath, let alone the secret that clearly hamstringed her. Yasu had been considering going home with Dylan who was then mercilessly smashed to death, understandably resentful of Jeanne for this. In an even more drastic change, Yasu turned out to dream of whisking away the true mastermind, a doll spirit who knew life only as a series of cruel games, to a happier place. Jeanne had been receptive of this framing at first; but when the final confrontation did not involve Kakuya directly repenting, she quite suddenly changed her tune to asking Yasu, "How many people must she kill again before you kill her yourself?" |

Kuro - Chloe von Einzbern Kuro is Jeanne's soulmate. They immediately recognized each other as Grail War / Shaman Fight participants and furthermore Kuro correctly predicted that Jeanne would inevitably cause trouble for everyone by sacrificing too much of herself and others for the sake of long-term peace. Simultaneously infuriated and wanting to be closer to someone who understood so deeply, Jeanne declared Kuro her friendly rival. They spent a great deal of time together training, helping each other, and just listening. When the inevitable occurred, Jeanne was shocked to hear that she was Kuro's friend in spite of her crimes and finally realized that unconditional love exists. This was the key that unlocked the iron maiden Jeanne was trapped inside. Now they'll go shopping together for new clothes. |
